Browser and System Optimization

Recommended Browsers

  • Chrome (recommended)

  • Firefox

  • Safari

  • Edge

Avoid: Internet Explorer (not supported)

Clear Cache Regularly

Cached data can slow performance or cause display issues. How often: Monthly or when experiencing issues How: Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data

Update Your Browser

Keep browser updated to latest version for security and performance.

Close Unnecessary Tabs

Each open tab uses memory. Close tabs you're not using.

Dashboard Loading Tips

Apply Filters Before Loading Charts

Loading full dataset then filtering is slower than filtering first.

Slow: Load dashboard → Wait → Apply filters Fast: Apply filters → Load filtered dashboard

Use Date Range Limits

Don't load "All Time" if you only need recent data. Limit to relevant date range (Last Quarter, Last Year).

Refresh During Off-Peak Hours

If running large data refreshes, do during off-peak hours (early morning, late evening).

Efficient Filtering

Start Broad, Then Narrow

Apply major filters first (Wealth Segment, Age Range), then refine.

Save Common Filter Sets

Don't recreate the same filters repeatedly. Save as "Favorite View" or "Saved Filter Set."

Remove Filters When Done

Leaving too many active filters can slow subsequent operations. Click "Clear All Filters" when starting new analysis.

Use "AND" Logic Carefully

Multiple filters with AND logic drastically reduce dataset. Be intentional about combinations.

Export Best Practices

Export Filtered Data, Not Full Database

Only export what you need to reduce file size and processing time.

Choose Appropriate Format

  • CSV: Fastest, for data analysis

  • Excel: For formatting and formulas

  • PDF: For sharing/presentation

Download During Good Connection

Large exports require stable internet. Don't attempt on weak WiFi.

Limit Exports to Necessary Fields

Select specific columns rather than "Export All" for faster processing.

Workflow Efficiency

Use Keyboard Shortcuts

Learn shortcuts for common actions (if available):

  • Ctrl/Cmd + F: Focus filter bar

  • Esc: Clear selection

  • Arrow keys: Navigate

Bookmark Frequently Used Views

Bookmark URLs of common filter combinations for quick access.

Schedule Reports

Set up automated exports/reports rather than manually generating each time.

Use Dashboard on Desktop, Not Mobile

Mobile works for quick checks, but use desktop for deep analysis and heavy filtering.

Data Management

Regular Data Updates

Keep your CRM sync current to ensure fresh data. Frequency: Weekly or after major CRM changes.

Archive Old Records

Remove or archive inactive contacts to keep dashboard lean.

Deduplicate Records

Duplicates slow performance and skew counts. Regularly check for and merge duplicates.

Troubleshooting Slow Performance

If dashboard is slow:

  1. Check internet connection

  2. Clear browser cache

  3. Close other tabs and applications

  4. Refresh the page

  5. Try different browser

  6. Apply filters to reduce data load

  7. Contact support if issues persist

If exports fail:

  • Reduce date range

  • Filter to smaller dataset

  • Try different format

  • Disable pop-up blocker

  • Check available disk space
