Understanding Your Dashboard

Learn about the main sections of your Catchlight Analytics Dashboard and how to navigate the interface to access lead data, performance metrics, and interactive charts.

Your Catchlight Analytics Dashboard is your command center for tracking lead enrichment, analyzing performance, and identifying your best opportunities. This guide will walk you through each section of the dashboard so you can quickly find the information you need.

Dashboard Layout Overview

Your dashboard is organized into several key sections, each designed to give you specific insights about your leads and business performance.

Header Section

At the top of your dashboard, you'll find:

  • Dashboard Title - "Catchlight Analytics Dashboard"

  • Subtitle - A brief description of what you can do with the dashboard

  • Last Updated - When your data was last refreshed

This header orients you to the page and confirms you're viewing current data.

Filter Section

The filter section appears directly below the header and includes:

  • Search Bar - Search across all your leads by name, email, or other details

  • Date Range Picker - Select time periods for your analytics (Last 7 Days, 30 Days, Custom, etc.)

  • Enrichment Status Filter - Filter by data enrichment status (Completed, In Progress, Failed, etc.)

  • Event Topic Filter - View leads with specific life events or milestones

  • Baseline Comparison - Compare current metrics against a historical period

  • Apply & Reset Buttons - Execute your filter selections or return to defaults

Tip: Filters remain at the top of the page as you scroll, making it easy to adjust your view at any time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI Cards)

Below the filters, you'll see a grid of KPI cards displaying your most important metrics:

  • Enrichment Metrics - Total leads enriched, success rates, match confidence

  • Lead Quality Metrics - Average Catchlight Score and quality distribution

  • Revenue Potential - Projected client revenue and opportunity value

KPI cards show:

  • The current metric value (large number)

  • Change indicator (green up arrow for growth, red down arrow for decline)

  • Comparison text (e.g., "vs. last month")

Visual Cue: Highlighted cards (green gradient background) indicate your most important metrics.

Revenue Potential Section

This dedicated section focuses on financial opportunity metrics:

  • Revenue KPI Cards - Total projected revenue, average per lead, high-value lead count

  • Revenue Distribution Chart - Bar chart showing how many leads fall into each revenue range

  • Wealth Segment Analysis - Breakdown by Mass Market, Affluent, High Net Worth, etc.

Interactive Feature: Click on any bar in the revenue chart to view the specific leads in that category.

Life Events & Opportunities Section

This section helps you identify actionable opportunities:

  • Life Event Charts - Visual breakdown of leads experiencing specific milestones

  • Eligibility Milestone Tracking - Age-based opportunities (retirement eligibility, catch-up contributions, etc.)

  • Event Timelines - When life events occurred for better outreach timing

Use Case: Use this section to create targeted campaigns around life events like job changes, new home purchases, or approaching retirement.

Enrichment Performance Section

Track how your data enrichment is performing:

  • Enrichment Status Breakdown - How many leads are completed, in progress, or failed

  • Match Confidence Distribution - Quality levels (Excellent, Good, Fair)

  • Enrichment Trends Over Time - Line charts showing enrichment progress

This section helps you understand data quality and identify any enrichment issues that need attention.

Lead Quality & Scoring Section

Understand the overall quality of your lead database:

  • Catchlight Score Distribution - How your leads score from 0-100

  • High-Quality Lead Identification - Leads scoring above specific thresholds

  • Score Trends - How lead quality changes over time

Strategy Tip: Focus your efforts on leads with higher Catchlight Scores for better conversion rates.

How the Dashboard Updates

Your dashboard data updates in the following ways:

  • Automatic Refresh - Data refreshes every time you load the page

  • Filter Application - Clicking "Apply" updates all charts and metrics based on your filter selections

  • Real-Time Search - Search results appear as you type

  • Chart Interactions - Clicking on charts may drill down to show specific lead lists

Navigation Tips

To get the most from your dashboard:

1. Start Broad, Then Narrow

  • Begin with "All Time" or a large date range to see overall trends

  • Use filters to drill down into specific time periods or segments

2. Compare Time Periods
