RSVP Reminders and the RSVP Column

How registrants confirm attendance through the automated 24-hour reminder, what the RSVP column shows, and how to avoid double-confirming.

Written by Chris Ross

Wondering what the RSVP column in your lead list means, or how registrants tell us whether they'll attend? Here's how it works — and how to make sure it doesn't overlap with any confirmation messages your own team sends.

What the RSVP column shows

On your My Leads page, the RSVP status records whether a registrant has told us they plan to attend an in-person seminar. It fills in automatically — there's nothing you need to do, and registrants don't confirm anything inside the portal.

How registrants RSVP: the automated 24-hour reminder

As part of your campaign, we automatically send a reminder 24 hours before each event with a link registrants tap to let us know whether they're coming. Their response is what populates the RSVP column.

  • In-person seminars — a reminder text and email, each with a "let us know if you'll be attending" link.

  • Webinars — a reminder text with the same link.

What the reminders say

Seminar — 24-hour text

"Hi [First name], this is a friendly reminder that you are registered for our upcoming event [Event] being held tomorrow at [Venue] at [Time]. Click this link to let us know if you will be attending or not so we can save your seat. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & Data Rates May Apply."

Seminar — 24-hour email

"Hello [First name], this is a friendly reminder that our upcoming event [Event] is tomorrow. Click the link below to let us know if you will be attending or not so we can save your seat." — followed by a Confirm Your Attendance button and the event location, address, date, time, and a map link.

Webinar — 24-hour text

"Hi [First name], this is a friendly reminder that our upcoming online webinar [Webinar] is tomorrow [Date] at [Time]. Click this link to let us know if you will be attending or not. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & Data Rates May Apply."

Already send your own confirmation messages?

If your team also sends confirmation or reminder texts of its own (for example, three days and one day before the event), the automated 24-hour RSVP reminder can overlap — and registrants might be asked to confirm more than once. Just let us know and we'll turn off the automated RSVP reminder for your campaigns, so there's only one confirmation step. Reach out any time via Chat with us.

Where to see the responses

Each registrant's answer appears in the RSVP column on My Leads. For webinars, the portal shows an Attendance column instead, reflecting who actually joined. See Finding and Exporting Your Leads for more on browsing and exporting registrants.
