When someone registers for your event, we start sending them a series of text messages and emails automatically — confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. You don't have to set any of it up or turn anything on.
Here's what goes out, and when.
📌 This is our standard set. If you've asked us to reword, add, or remove any of these messages for your account, what actually goes out to your registrants will differ from what's below. Not sure what's customized on yours? Ask us in the chat and we'll confirm.

Every template — the real text, word for word — is in your portal on the Message templates page. You can filter to just seminars or just webinars, and there's a Print / Save as PDF button, which is the easiest way to send the whole set to a compliance reviewer.
Seminars
Every message below goes out as both a text and an email.
Message | When it sends |
Confirmation | Right after they register |
3-day reminder | 3 days before |
24-hour reminder | The day before — this one carries the confirm-attendance link |
Day-of reminder | The day of the event |
The confirmation, 3-day, and day-of messages include an Add to Calendar link, and the day-of text includes a map link to the venue.
Webinars
Message | Text | When it sends
Confirmation | ✓ | ✓ | Right after they register |
24-hour reminder | ✓ | ✓ | The day before — the text carries the confirm-attendance link |
1-hour reminder | ✓ | 1 hour before
15-minute reminder | ✓ | ✓ | 15 minutes before |
Replay follow-up | ✓ | After the webinar, with the replay link
Consultation follow-up | ✓ | ✓ | The day after, with your booking link |
Do the post-webinar messages go to everyone? Yes — both the replay follow-up and the consultation follow-up go to everyone who registered, whether they showed up, left early, or missed it entirely. The wording is written to cover all three.
What time zone do registrants see?
The times in your confirmations and reminders show the time zone of the event itself — not the registrant's own. What that works out to depends on the kind of event:
Seminars — the time zone where the venue is. Someone registering from another state still sees the venue's local time, which is what you want for an in-person event.
Live webinars — normally your firm's time zone. If you're in Eastern and running a nationwide campaign, everyone sees Eastern.
Automated webinars — these can be set up to run in more than one time zone (two, three, or all four) depending on what you want. When they are, each registrant sees the time for the specific session they signed up for.
There's genuine variation here, especially on automated webinars. If you're not sure how yours is set up, ask us in the chat and we'll confirm it for your account.
A few things worth knowing
The 24-hour reminder is the one that feeds your RSVP column. It contains the link registrants tap to confirm or decline — see RSVP Reminders and the RSVP Column. If you send your own confirmation messages and don't want people confirming twice, tell us and we can switch ours off.
Every text includes "Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & Data Rates May Apply" — that's required compliance language, so it can't be removed.
Anything in %PERCENT_SIGNS% fills in automatically with your event's real title, date, time, venue, and links. Registrants never see the placeholder.
Webinar confirmations and reminders come from Demio; the consultation follow-up comes from our email system. That's why they look a little different from each other.
Webinar registrants get a join link that's unique to them and shouldn't be shared — each one only works for that person.
Someone want out? Registrants can reply STOP to the texts, or you can remove them yourself — see Removing or Blocking a Registrant.
Want something changed?
We can reword a message, add one, or drop one from your campaigns. Message us in the chat with what you'd like changed and we'll set it up on your account — after that, your set will differ from the standard shown here, which is exactly why the note at the top of this article matters.
