Compliance review now happens in two stages instead of one:
Pre-Compliance Review. You approve the ad copy and creative before we build the campaign in Meta.
Final Compliance Review. You approve the assembled campaign (landing page, confirmation page, and ads) before it goes live.
Previously, we built campaigns first and then sent them to you for review. If you wanted changes, our media buyers had to rebuild everything inside Meta Ads Manager, which slowed launches down. By getting your sign-off on the copy and creative up front, the final review is much faster and revisions drop significantly.
The full flow
Step 1. A request is flagged for compliance review. Not every campaign needs one. See When Will We Send You a Campaign for Review? for the criteria we use.
Step 2. We send you an email with a secure link to your Pre-Compliance Review, containing the proposed ad copy variations and creatives. You make a decision on each item.
Step 3. Once you've signed off, your approved copy and creative are locked. Our media buyers use them to build the campaign in Meta.
Step 4. We send you an email with a link to your Final Compliance Review, which shows the complete campaign assembled (landing page, confirmation page, and ads as they'll appear in the Facebook feed). You give one last approval on each piece.
Step 5. Campaign goes live.
Why this is better for you
Faster launches, because we're not rebuilding ads in Meta after the fact
Fewer surprises at the final review, since you've already approved the components
You can now edit ad copy directly in the review instead of leaving notes for us to interpret
Clear sign-off at each stage, so there's no ambiguity about what was approved
